Fingers crossed for Germany

The Austrians keep their fingers crossed the most for the Germans for the Soccer World Cup. The fascination for football in Austria is still low: 19 percent are very interested, 41 percent abstain from „the beautiful game“ on TV. Austria does not play a role in the battle for goals anymore, 48 percent consider a qualification for a big tournament rather hopeless.
